significantly extend on the success  of 4G/LTE. It will
power 50 Billion+ connected devices, enable tactile
internet experience and mission critical communication
in applications such as autonomous vehicles. Its key
performance targets include peak data rates beyond
10Gbps and a 1000 fold increase in network capacity.

This course will deal with the major enabling technologies

that are driving the research on 5G. These enablers

will be discussed individually with the help of
important results and the related research issues will
also be identified.
